Kyai Haji As’ad bin Humam, or K.H. As’ad Humam, (born in Yogyakarta, 1933, died in Yogyakarta, February 2, 1996, at the age of 63) was a pioneer of one of the fast methods of learning to read the Qur’an (qira-ah) which was popular as the Iqro method.
